Her interest in the legal field started early. Growing up, she watched both her mother and grandmother build careers as paralegals, which gave her a firsthand look at how legal professionals can support people during some of life’s most difficult moments. That early exposure sparked a passion for law that stayed with her through school and into her career.
Kamryn earned her Associate’s degree in Legal Studies from Middlesex Community College before completing her paralegal certification through Boston University. During her studies and internships, she explored several areas of law, including criminal law, but family law quickly stood out as the area she found most meaningful.
Having experienced her parents’ divorce firsthand as a child, Kamryn understands how deeply family conflict can affect children long after a case ends. That personal perspective continues to shape the way she approaches her work today. She is especially passionate about custody and child support matters and believes children should never feel caught in the middle of conflict. One of the most rewarding parts of her role is helping families navigate emotional situations while keeping the focus on what matters most — the well-being of the children involved.
At Cape Fear Family Law, Kamryn works closely with multiple attorneys and plays an active role in keeping cases organized and moving forward smoothly. Her day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with clients, managing filings, drafting legal documents, and assisting with trial preparation. She especially enjoys the hands-on side of litigation, from organizing trial notebooks to preparing exhibits for court.
Outside of work, Kamryn enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets, Bean and Meatball. She loves relaxing at the beach, cooking homemade pasta, and getting back into soccer after playing for many years growing up. As she continues building her career in family law, Kamryn hopes to keep supporting families through some of the most important and emotional moments of their lives.
