“I’ve always wanted to be part of something bigger than myself,” Paige confides, probably while dramatically adjusting an invisible cape. “That’s why I joined the Army National Guard—and why I marched straight into the legal world. Helping people in need? Now that’s my kind of superhero gig.”

Born and raised up in Danville, Illinois (home of cornfields and fiercely competitive bake sales), Paige spent her early years perfecting her “auntie skills” alongside her older sister’s two adorable troublemakers – one niece and one nephew. These days, she’s made North Carolina her playground—though she still regrets that “Aunt P” cannot just get in the car and drive over for a quick playdate.
A recent East Carolina University alumna (go Pirates!), Paige holds a Criminal Justice degree with a sociology minor—a double whammy that practically screams “future legal ninja.”
She’s a Leader in the Making
Paige sauntered into Cape Fear Law Firm straight from academic hallways—no small-firm side quests required. She credits her National Guard days with drilling into her a paralegal’s superpowers: discipline, precision, and the ability to turn mountains of paperwork into neat, orderly speed-bumps.
Looking ahead, Paige dreams of swapping her trusty sidekick status for the head-of-the-table chair. Paige does not envision becoming a lawyer and has no plans to don the lawyer’s robes (I mean really who wants 3 more years of school and student loan debt like that when you can make an impact immediately) Nevertheless, she does aspire to lead a crack team of legal eagles—peppered with her signature blend of warm encouragement and the occasional impeccably timed joke.
For now, she’s all ears (and pens) as she learns the private-sector ropes—eager to compare civilian paralegal life and the same role and functions while in the military.
The Natural World Attracts Her
Single and fiercely independent—Paige dotes on her adorable vizsla sidekick, Leia (who demands belly rubs on schedule, thank you very much). International jet-setting hasn’t made the cut yet, but Paige has conquered many a state in style. Pennsylvania’s quirky charm and North Carolina’s “mild just-right” weather and something-for-everyone style top her list of favorite states.
Ideal vacation? Give her mountains, trails, and a blissful silence—minus the flying menaces of bugs and spiders. (We’ve all been there, Paige.)
