Before joining the firm, Clarissa spent several years in the casino industry. The environment was fast, unpredictable, and often high-pressure, but it taught her how to adapt quickly and stay centered even in stressful situations. Over time, she felt drawn to work that aligned more closely with her values. That shift happened when she met Janet. Clarissa was quickly impressed by the firm’s philosophy of caring for clients through their entire journey, not just the legal steps.
In her role, Clarissa works closely with Janet each day, helping organize schedules, keep operations running smoothly, and offering support wherever it’s needed. Behind-the-scenes brainstorming is one of her favorite parts of the job. She values being part of a team that makes a meaningful difference for families. Even though she’s new to the legal field, she takes pride in knowing that her work contributes to outcomes that help parents and children move forward with stability and hope.
Clarissa’s long-term goal is to continue growing within the firm and become a strong, reliable presence on the team. She enjoys learning about the legal world from the inside out and is committed to developing her skills to support the firm’s mission over time.
Outside of work, she finds balance in the things that inspire her. Traveling, reading, creating art, staying active, walking her dog, enjoying music, and spending time with friends are at the top of her list. The beach is one of her favorite places to recharge. She credits her travels with teaching her an important lesson she carries into every part of her life—the right people will always make you stronger.
