Originally from North Carolina, Wes earned his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law. After spending several years practicing in Massachusetts, he eventually returned home. Having worked closely with families throughout his career, the move to family law felt like a natural next step. One that allows him to help parents and children find a path forward, especially in challenging co-parenting situations.
What he loves most about family law is helping families move toward cooperation and doing what’s best for their kids. At Cape Fear Family Law, he’s found a supportive team that shares those values and is dedicated to putting clients first. He appreciates the firm’s collaborative spirit and looks forward to growing alongside the attorneys he considers some of the best he’s ever worked with.
Outside the office, Wes is a proud husband and dad of two. He and his wife share a deep love of music, with a massive record collection and years of concert-going memories between them. His family bonds over playing video games and great food, often cooking together or exploring new local restaurants.
With a love for learning, a deep commitment to family law, and long-term goals that include becoming a judge, Wes brings compassion and ambition to every case he touches, making him a trusted and valued part of the Cape Fear Family Law team.
