Meet Janee
Janee’s journey into law wasn’t driven by a single, defining moment. Instead, it was her love of reading and writing that inspired her to pursue a career in the legal field. Encouraged by her guidance counselor, she realized that her passion for these skills would serve her well in law school and beyond. That drive has been a constant in her career, and she continues to find fulfillment in the legal research and writing that are essential parts of her role.
At Cape Fear Family Law, Janee brings not only her strong research and writing abilities but also her deep family-oriented values. Growing up in a close-knit family, she frequently traveled home during college and law school to participate in family events, particularly to sing with her family’s gospel singing group. This commitment to her family reflects the importance of connection and support in her life, all qualities that shape her approach to family law.
Janee is focused on further developing her legal career over the next five years, with goals to enhance her research and writing skills, build meaningful professional relationships within the legal community, and gain more experience in both litigation and transactional law.
In her free time, Janee enjoys singing with her gospel group, attending church, spending time with her family, and trying out new restaurants. She also loves to binge watch movies and TV series.
